Hi all -

It's been almost 5 months since Hypnagogia's original release! I can honestly say that I didn't expect its reception to be as well-rounded as it has been, and I've been so pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who've said they enjoyed it. With that being said, I'd like to formally announce that I've begun development on an official sequel! In this follow-up to the first game, you can expect another round of weird dream exploration, strange talkative creatures, and a fair share of platform hopping. I won't go into too much detail in order to avoid spoiling everything I have planned out, but there will be a few new elements that should spice things up.

• Optional dialogue choices that give an added layer to NPC interaction
• New and explorative dream worlds, each with a unique theme
• A whole swath of new and colorful characters
• Completely original soundtrack by Reeez!
• Animated cutscenes to drive a narrative
• Various resolution support, including modern 16:9 and classic 4:3
  
• Full controller support
• Saving and loading game data

The project's been in solo production for about a month as of writing this post, so a lot of the framework has already been laid out. My hope is to have the game wrapped up by the end of this year (possibly on the original game's 1-year anniversary).
